Hi,
attached a very basic and Version-0.0-Handbook on how to setup a
computer with rule, how to add apps so that in the end one can write a
letter, calculate a spreadsheet etc. on a P166/64-MB PC. Most of this
work is done by rulescripts, so it is somehow a rule-handbook for the
0.3.9 ff.-ISO.
Just wanted to know, if you would be interested in finsihing this "opus"
together.
The big advantage I see: For me, as not Linux but IT-professional, it is
not the big issue, to find soemthing in the lists or on the
rule-homepage. But the more newbees are completely lost. This should be
a comprehensive book, covering all form the backgrounds, the
requiremnets the steps and possible problems including the workarounds
(f.e. ide=nodma, if you do not know it, you are lost)
Pls. let me know if I shouild continue this way and if you will add the
rule-secific parts (marked with '...').
Thanks, Ingo.
@Hansi, Lisi Johannes: Bitte subscrirts euch auf der Rule-Mailingliste,
damit ihr die noetigen hintergrunde mitbekommst.
PS: Btw. the english is horrible - I know - but I hope that soemone can
go trough it, ones we have the content.
