Έχεις δίκιο, όμως η αδυναμία να κάνεις δωρεάν κόπιες για να τις δώσεις σε φίλους σου αποτελεί παράβαση της GPL, μια και σύμφωνα με τους όρους της, εφ'όσων κάνεις τέλεια και ολοκληρωτικά (verbatim) αντίγραφα της GPL'd δουλειάς, μπορείς να την διανείμεις με όποια χρέωση θες (συμπεριλαμβανόμενης και της μηδενικής)[1]. Η SuSE το απαγόρευε αυτό και γι'αυτό δεν έχει και ISO στο site της ή δεν αφήνει πουθενά αλλού να μπουν ISO της διανομής της. Αυτό αποτελεί παραβίαση της GPL.
Νομίζω ότι όμως τώρα έβαλε στα κουτιά σήμανση που λέει ότι επιτρέπεται η αντιγραφή, αλλά δεν βάζω το χέρι μου στη φωτιά.
