The next physical meeting of the board of the FFII will take place in
Athens, Greece, in Fri 31 March and Sat 1 April 2006 (recommended
arrival and departure times are 30 March and 2 April).
People are encouraged to come. Workshops and meetings will be held on
Friday and Saturday. Parts of the board meeting may be open. If
there is any time and courage left, a guided tour in the Acropolis and
the Parthenon may be organised for Sunday morning.
Book your ticket now; you can start your search at
http://www.airtickets.gr/. Current ticket prices are around 194 euros
from Brussels with Swiss (but on Thursday morning; otherwise it's more
expensive) and 220 from Munich with Lufthansa. The bus from the
airport to the city is 3 euros (one way). Hotel prices per person,
with breakfast, are 69 euros (single) or 40 euros (double), except for
Saturday, for which they rise to 82 and 46 respectively (because of
the month change); however, these are for the President Hotel, which
is quite good, and we will probably find cheaper ones. If you bring a
sleeping bag, it is likely that you will be accommodated for free;
however, this cannot be guaranteed yet. The FFII is unlikely to fund
you, but you can ask anyway.
