Αν έχει υποστήριξη FreeType, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει κατευθείαν
γραμματοσειρές TrueType - οι οποίες συνήθως έχουν κωδικοποίηση Unicode
και μπορούν να δουλέψουν με πολλές γλώσσες.  Η arial.ttf περιέχει όντως
και Ελληνικά. Παρεμπιπτόντως, η Microsoft είχε επιτρέψει τη διανομή της
ως «Web Core Font», οπότε δεν είναι αποκλειστικά των Windows. Όπως λέει
η άδεια χρήσης της Microsoft:
