Problem starting X-Windows

When you need to rerun the "video configuration utility", in suse this
usually means a program like sax.  If you need to run this to configure
a newly installed XFree86 program, you can, at the command prompt, type
sax

Another, perhaps better way would be to, at the command prompt, launch
YaST by typing yast.  This will cause it to start, and you can then
select System Administration-Configure XFree86

You can use YaST to assist you in performing any program
deletion/reinstallation as well.  You can use the RPM system for this
program administration from a command line, from within X, and from
within YaST.  If you had damaged the current fonts installation on your
computer, you could use YaST to reinstall those fonts, or perhaps
additional fonts to your system.
