Ειδικά για τα SuSE η μεταγλώττιση του πυρήνα δεν είναι αναγκαία στις 99% των
περιπτώσεων.
Υπάρχει ένα πακέτο με όλα τα modules. Το εγκαθιστάς, ενεργοποιείς το module και
καθάρισες. Πλέον στρην έκδοση 2.2 του πυρήνα δεν χρειάζεται recompilation για
εγκατάσταση κάρτας ήχου.
