Unknown Ethernet card

Actually if you are using kernel 2.0.29 there was a patch for the winbond
chipset.
I think I could try to locate it on my hard disk and send it on a private
e-mail.
If you have a pci card and 2.0.29 (slackware) it is almost sure that the
ne2000 driver
will consider the card to be an NE1000, so you need the patch.
I think that kernels over 2.1.x work ok with ethernet pci cards with
winbond chipsets
