+Okay, I just spoke to the GtkHTML developers, and we just have to use
+the evolution method for this stuff.  Basically, we need to set the
+GtkHTML widget to use UTF-8 encoding and use the U_() macro to convert
+strings from their own encoding into UTF-8.  I'll try to get it
