How to write in greek  with Xkeycaps.

    First you must find the program Xkeycaps ( http://www.jwz.org/xkeycaps/  or use the keyword 
"Xkeycaps" at  yahoo,altavista ect) and you must be sure that you have the ISO8859-7 fonts 
(Latin/Greek alphabet)that you can find at  Graphis  RPMfind)..
Check that your X server "knows"  were the fonts are (find the "XF86Config" file and take a look 
at "FontPath"; you can also use the "chkfontpath" for configure the X directories with the greek 
fonts .
Then open the Xkeycaps and select a keyboard(for ex:Vendors:Pc | Keyboards:105key,wide 
delete ,Tall Enter |Layouts:XFree86 ;italian and click ok.The right click at any key of the 
keyboard give's you a menu[Key A(0x26);Edit keysyms of key;ect].
Select the Edit Keysyms of Key from the menu(DON'T SELECT GREEK BUT LET Latin1).
When you finish press the "Write output " button ,select one of he 2 options (All keys or Changed 
keys) then click ok  for overwrite the xmodmap file.
Notes: This solution for a greek keyboard  maybe is not the faster ( like the Xgrbk)  but give's you 
the possibility to  have a "custom"keyboard that all the applications can "see" without change 
any .conf file.
