MySQL and Windows XP

Windows XP Advisory: Several of our users have reported random table 
corruption with Windows XP Home Edition under heavy load. It appears 
that Windows XP Home Edition has a bug in the I/O implementation. 
Under some rather rare circumstances, the O.S will write incorrect data 
to the disk. We recommend that all users currently running Windows XP 
Home Edition upgrade to Windows XP Service Pack 1.
