Hi,

I installed the new version on a 486 DX2 with 16 Meg ram and 540 meg HD. The install took between two and three hours. The installer found the ide cd reader at hdb no problem. The bios on this system contains no mention of a CD at all. I think it's all 1992 technology.

It takes five minutes to boot but then it is very responsive in text mode. I ran the two commands to enable networking and pinged out on my generic ISA network card. Links ran fine.

Very nice. I think I'm gonna break out a 386.
