 Transliterating a greek word into the latin alphabet leads many times to 
misconceptions. I will attempt to clarify this, by assuming that you are
familiar with grammar, especially with conjugations and with the
different way that similar sounding words are spelled.

  Case #1: word "stisis" as read in the original message
 The phrase "nomizo oti einai kalitera na stisis pola sistimata"
translates in english as "I think it is best that you set-up many
systems". Thus, "stisis" equals to "you set-up". Yes, in this case it's a 
verb, second person - singular. The spelling is different when written in 
greek.

  Case #2: word "stisis" as a stand-alone word
 This is the singular nominative case (in greek all words have gender,
this word is feminine) of the english word "erection" referring to penis. 
It is also spelled different ("stysis") but the sound of the word is
exactly the same in both cases. It should be mentioned here that "stysis" 
is rather a formal word; modern Greeks use words like "sikomares" or
"kavles" and almost always in plural, indicative of abundance and
profusion. Interestingly enough, "sikomares" has a direct notional
relation to "set-UP" :-)
