Δηλαδή με το submission του contribution γίνεται αυτόματα και η
μεταβίβαση του copyright (υπάρχει και clause για patents). Επίσης, πολλά
projects θέλουν το submission του contribution να γίνεται σε ένα δημόσιο
μέσο, πχ μια mailing list, για μεγαλύτερη διαφάνεια.

Δεν είμαι ούτε νομικός ούτε επαγγελματίας software engineer. Αλλά από
τότε που κατάλαβα τι παίζει με τις άδειες για μένα δεν υπάρχει κάποια
άλλη free open source άδεια που να τα κάνει όλα (πλην του να σου φέρνει
χρήματα άμεσα από την χρήση του κώδικα) εκτός από την Apache v2. Βέβαια,
η Apache license δεν υποχρεώνει τα derivative works να διανέμουν το
source code, αλλά για τέτοιες περιπτώσεις υπάρχει, αν δεν κάνω λάθος, η
πολύ καλή και δοκιμασμένη λύση του GPL+CLA (Contributor License
Agreement) και ίσως άλλες καλές εναλλακτικές. αλλά περί ορέξεως.
