Έχω μία κασέτα DAT-40 (DDS-4) στην οποία μπορώ να γράψω
< 20GB ασυμπίεστα χρησιμοποιώντας το tar αλλά ΔΕΝ μπορώ να γράψω > 20GB

Έχω δοκιμάσει εναλλακτικά τα εξής:

/bin/mt -f /dev/st0 compression 1
/bin/mt -f /dev/st0 compression on

αλλά τπτ.

Επίσης αυτός που μου έδωσε το tape drive μου επιβεβαίωσε ότι δεν είναι
θέμα jumper+settings καθώς στο προηγούμενο rhel έγραφε >20GB συμπιεσμένα.

Τέλος παίζει μέσω scsi controller μιας και δεν είχε scsi δίαυλο
