Anairesi relatime

Προσπαθώ να αναιρέσω το relatime αλλά αυτό δεν φαίνεται να αναιρείται:

anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ sudo mount -o remount,norelatime,atime /
[sudo] password for anthony: 
anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ mount|head -n 1
/dev/sda3 on / type ext3 (rw)
anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ ls -lhu xorg.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.1K Nov  4 10:10 xorg.conf
anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ date
Tue Nov  4 10:12:47 EET 2008
anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ cat xorg.conf >/dev/null
anthony at riggia:/etc/X11$ ls -lhu xorg.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.1K Nov  4 10:10 xorg.conf

Έχω ubuntu 8.10 με 2.6.24-19 (19.34).
