LAMP problem

καλησπερα.
σημερα εγκατεστησα το L.A.M.P. σε ubuntu 7.10.
σχετικα με το apache2:
sudo apt-get install apache2

αφου το εβαλα και πηγα στο firefox εγραψα   http://localhost
θα επρεπε να μου βγαλει   It Works!

Aντιθετα δειχνει οτι φορτωνει μια σελιδα και δε βγαζει τιποτα.
εβγαλα και ξαναεβαλα το apache2, εκανα stop και restart, αλλα παλι τα ιδια.
Τι μπορει να φταιει?
