lilo install error

Καλησπέρα,

Αντιμετωπίζω πρόβλημα με την εγκατάσταση του lilo σε δίσκο 40GB PATA ή 80GB
SATA: part_nowrite: read:: Input/output error

Χρησιμοποιώ Slackware 9.1 kernel 2.4.25 σε Μ/Β Intel 865 chipset σε legacy
mode (raid disabled).
Μήπως μπορεί να βοηθήσει κανείς ??
