Exoume enan samba server (slackware 9.0, samba 2.2.81) o opoios einai o PDC sto w2k domain. To thema einai oti enw sto configure evala to flag --with-utmp  kai sto  smb.conf exw balei 
        
        utmp = yes
        utmp directory = /var/run
        wtmp directory = /var/log

otan trexw thn entoli testparms pairnw to ekshs:

Ena akoma thema einai to ekshs: xrhsimopoiw thn teleutaia ekdosi tou cups, to opoio paizei mia xara me to samba. To mono problhma einai oti o xrhsths, pou exei kanei login sto w2k (ellhnika w2k, no comments please) mhxanima sto samba, den borei na akurwsei mia ektupwsi...  (ta permissions sto /var/spool/cups einai ok)
To idio problhma eixame kai paliotera me mia prohgoumeni ekdosi tou samba me lprn. 
To mono pou exw balei sto smb.conf, oso anafora ton printer einai:

   load printers = yes
   printcap name = cups
   printing = bsd
