Test And Documentation Engineer

Responsible for ensuring software designed by the company is adequately
tested and documented prior to customer delivery and acceptance. This will
involve module testing and system testing of software, + integration testing
and regression testing of bespoke systems. Principal responsibilities test
design setting up test equipment and harnesses followed by design of the
testing strategy for individual software modules, integration and
regression. Creation of detailed, step by step, test specification
documents. Documentation of test results. Creation of user documentation.
Key attributes experience of software testing methodology. A sound
methodical approach to module, system and regression testing. Analytical
mind. Professional customer interface skills. Experience of creating test
and user documentation. Occasional travel to site will be required.

* SMS/MMS Developer (Ref:SMSDEV): A technically strong developer with Java
skills to develop core areas on their major product. Knowledge of the

* Software Engineer (Ref:SWENGN): The ideal candidate will have between 2
and 3 years experience in Java and over 1 year in J2EE, preferably focusing
on EJB, JSP and JDBC using Jboss on Unix/Linux platforms. Knowledge of SQL,
HTML and XML is essential. Previous experience with C++, mobile telephony
and Oracle will be considered as a plus.

* Junior Developer (Ref:JNRDEV): Responsible for code development, testing
and documentation in a variety of environments, the candidate will be
reporting to the Director of Technology and be under the guidance of senior
developers. Gaining experience of developing Java, JSP and XML on
Unix/Linux/Windows, the candidate must initially have: Good results in a
relevant degree, 1-2 years of relevant experience either in programming
(including part-time university jobs), working knowledge of
Unix/Linux/Windows and good knowledge of a programming language (preferably
Java). Knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL would be highly
desirable.
