Χμμ δώσε μας :
1) το partition table σου (fdisk -l /dev/hda πχ) 
2) το /etc/lilo.conf σου
Για να βγει κάποια άκρη. Πάντως προσωρινή λύση στην ταλαιπωρία σου είναι να
φτιάξεις μια bootdisk με τον kernel που θες.
