Οδηγίες και boot image για Linux σε 386 με 4 ΜΒ RAM
(από το comp.os.linux.announce) :

I wrote an article with some detailed instructions how to create a minimal
root file system and a boot diskette that can serve as a basis for
rescue disks and the like. I use uClibc and Busybox and I can still boot
a 2.4 kernel with a RAM disk on a 386 machine with 4MB of RAM. Alas, the
RAM-disk-less version does not boot in 2MB.

Find this article at
http://www.xs4all.nl/~lennartb/linux.html

I'm working on an article about boot loaders as well (Linux Boot Loaders
Compared). This contains instructions to make boot diskettes with the
kernel and root file system from the previous article, using the Linux boot
sector, LILO, GRUB and SYSLINUX. This should appear on the same URL real
soon now.
