virtualdomain wildcharacters

hello i have installed sendmail and everything is working but i would like
help on a matter about virtual domains and mails
and wildcard using

i am using the virtualdomain file which has entries like below
i use makemap to make this file virtualdomain.db

line 1     kostas at mitsos.gr       kostas.mitsos.gr
line 2     *@kitsos.gr             *.kitsos.gr

i also tried  @kitsos.gr            %1.kitsos.gr

user kostas.mitsos.gr is local to the machine and working correctly i want
to do something like this i am trying in line 2
so using wildcards to change it for all the users in the domain so not to do
the same for each user , i used it before and it worked but i cant find why
it is not working now....

any help would be appreciated
