	First check that your modem is not a winmodem. These things
are missing some embedded circuits and have the job done by software.
If this is the case then you are out of luck unless your modem is
supported at http://www.limodems.org.

              If your modem isn't a winmodem then I think you should
have your ppp0 interface pointing elseware than ttyS15. Probably you
should check ttyS2  or ttyS3.
