I have a big problem installing Linux on my computer. I have tried installing it along with windows or alone after
having formatted the hard disk but I still get no results.
I have a PC with a Celeron 366, Intel i740 8MB video card, Soundblaster 64 and 64MB Ram.
I am trying to install OpenLinux 2.2 from Caldera systems.
I am installing from the CD-Rom and after it completes the installation and it tries to boot, I reach
the point where it says
Sending processes the TERM signal and then nothing happens. I have waited up to 15 minutes.
Also, during the installation, when I configure the video card and the monitor, and then I test the graphics
mode, no matter which mode I select, the display doesn't change.
Does anyone know what is wrong and what I can do?
Maybe somenone can send me instructions on installing?
Thanx
