Μια πρόχειρη ιδέα είναι:

 *AIC_p = (volatile unsigned int *) 0x3ffe; // Line 44 

αν δεν έχει ήδη δοκιμαστεί.

Πάντως με μια πιο ολοκληρωμένη επισκόπιση του υπόλοιπου κώδικά θα μπορούσα να
βοηθήσω περισσότερο.
