Anyway:

First of all the reason you need the Distiller is not clear.
Why you do not use pdflatex and/or pdftex?

And how come ps2pdf does not work properly?
What is the problem with these tools?

The Distiller is a hard to find tool and hardly necessary to
someone that uses TeX/LaTeX with the latest version of ghostscript.

The TeX community is very happy with ghoststscript release 6
which fixes bugs and produces right pdf documents. 
I think that after this release of ghostscript the Distiller
is usefull only to Word-users...

It is much easier to correct the problems (if you tell us) of
your ps2pdf or pdflatex....
