Γενικά οι παράλληλοι scanners δεν υποστηρίζονται κατά 99%.

Αφού όμως (υποθέτω:) έχεις wiblow$ και τους drivers για αυτό, μπορείς να
ακολουθήσεις την πλάγια οδό:

1) Μέσω VMWare. Το δοκίμασα μόλις προχτές (ναι ναι όταν αγόρασα προ
αμνημονεύτων ετών τον παράλληλο scanner μου δεν ήξερα ακόμα για αυτό το
«πρόβλημα»). Δουλέυει μια χαρά! Είναι όμως λίγο αργό, αλλά μπρος στα κάλη...
Φρόντισε να κατεβάσεις όμως την τελευταία BETA έκδοση (1.0.8 beta νομίζω;)
γιατί είναι η μόνη που υποστηρίζει uni-directinal parallel port.

2) Μέσω WINE. Το documentation λέει ότι γίνεται. Δυστυχώς ακόμα δεν έχω
καταφέρει να το κάνω να δουλέψει, αλλά που θα μου πάει! Ίσως φταίει το γεγονός
ότι τα windows που έχω εγκαταστήσει είναι τα 98.

Ο δικός μου scanner είναι ο Mustek ScanExpress 6000P
