  ΟΚ, μόλις το έλεγξα στο specification. Το base μπαίνει όντως στο head της
σελίδας, και στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση ο φίλος μας θέλει κάτι τέτοιο:

  <base href="http://whatever.com/html/">

ή ίσως και:

  <base href="/html/">
