Όχι, χρησιμοποιεί δικό της encoding.
Aπό ότι είδα όμως αυτό το encoding χρησιμοποιείται ευρέως από
πανεπιστημιακούς κύκλους για ανάγνωση πολυτονικού κειμένου (το iso8859-7 ΔΕΝ
είναι για πολυτονικό κείμενο) και μάλιστα συνήθως για Mac (και wibow$).
