Netscape 4.5 Probs

I have a problem with writing a greek message
in Netscape's messenger either in the subject or in
the body of the message

What have I done so far
1. I use SUSE 6.1 and KDE 6.1
2. I have installed the greek fonts from graphis. I can use them
    in almost every application except the messenger
3. I follow the instractions from magaz eg. copy Netscape.ad, to
    app-defaults as Netscape, change some lines etc.
3. The problem persists: I cant write in greek (in messenger)

Please help !!
