ISD is a privately held company in Chalandri, Athens focused on the design
and  development of integrated circuits.  Its activities cover all aspects
of IC and systems design including embedded systems and software.

ISD has open positions for people with knowledge/experience in the
challenging areas in hardware, firmware and software:

(1) Design Engineers 

    Job description:
    Creation of digital high-speed ICs in the field of microprocessor design,
    telecommunication components, and ASICs for multimedia applications.
    Advanced CAD-tools are used for the different stages of the IC-design 
    process.

    Required Experience/Knowledge in at least one/some of the following areas:
    - use of hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL/..)
    - use of C/C++ for system level modeling
    - logic synthesis (e.g. Synopsys)
    - IC back-end design (e.g. Cadence Cell3 or other)
    - mixed signal, analog design 
    - processor architecture and DSP processor architecture
    - implementation of network protocols (Ethernet, ATM, ..)
    - system design


(2) Software Engineers

   This job position involves developement of firmware and software to support
   IC designs. Relevant experience/knowledge is required in some of the 
   following fields:
   - Real-Time software development
   - Network protocols programming 
   - device drivers development
   - DSP Processors and algorithms
