user. O root exei ena apo default xoris na xreiazete na to dhmiourghsh.

Ego gia na ektelo(san root) kathe trith sths 18:05 updatedb ekana ta parakato:

export EDITOR=vi(einai kalh idea na valo afth thn command sto ~/.bash_profile?)

crontab -e

kai egrapsa thn parakato line

05 18 * * 3 /usr/bin/updatedb --prunepaths='/tmp /var/tmp /cdrive /usr/tmp'

save kai exit apo to file.

Perimena na pai i wra 18:05 kai eida apo top pos ontos doulepse.:)

meso linuxconf den evlepa to schedule afto,pou ekana prin to reset,

afto  den mporo na to gonepso.

Sxetika me cron kai user twra,

me pedepse na dhmiourghso crontab gia ton user.

Sto man lei na doso crontab -u paul file , ala pio file re gamoto afto den to elege.

Ekana ego crontab -u paul /etc/crontab kai ekane ena file sto /var/spool/cron/paul

pou eixe oti eixe to /etc/crontab pou afto einai lathos dioti sta crontab twn user

den grafoume user name stis grammes.

Telika ekana ena vi paul kai meta crontab -u paul paul kai egrapse mesa
