The 5th International Linux-Kongress, which is one of the eldest and
most important meetings of Linux-developers since it's beginning in 1994
will take place from

June 3rd to June 5th in Cologne

The program, which tends to be complete and stable now, and the
online-registration form can be found at http://www.linux-kongress.de.

As in the years before, the Kongress4 most important goal is to be
the meeting point of those who are doing, those who want to participate
or who those who are interested in the technical development of
Linux and related free software products.

We are happy that we could increase the number of tutorials (on
Wednesday, June 3rd), since they have been very successful in the
last year:
Becoming a Debian Developer by Bruce Perens
                      RealTime-Linux by Victor Yodaiken
KDE-Programmierung by Kalle Dalheimer und Matthias Ettrich
ISDN4Linux for developers by Fritz Elfert und Karsten Keil
ISDN4Linux for users by Klaus Franken
Firewall Technologies on Linux Systems by Willy Konynenberg and Jos
Vos
Kernel-Driver-Development by Michael Beck, Harald Boehme and Claus
Schroeter

Please note that some of the tutorials are given in german (as a very
few of the conference's talks) and are reserved for conference visitors
till May 20th.

The Kongress is organized by voluntary Linux-Fans from
                        LunetIX, Berlin
                      LiVe Linux-Verband
                 Thinking Objects, Wuerzburg
GUUG - German UNIX User Group
NLUUG - UNIX User Group-The Netherlands
The regional computing centre of the University of Cologne

The Kongress is planned to be financially balanced - should any profits
be made by this event they will reinvested into the further development
of Linux and Free Software.
