Cooledit 3.5.4 has just been uploaded, get it from one of:

Cooledit also features `coolicon' an icon manager that also does mailbox
monitoring. This will display a nice 3D-rotating-grey-shaded `e'
whenever you get email (remember the film `Disclosure' with Demi Moore and
Micheal Douglas?). The icon manager (like all cool packages) has full drag
and drop support.

New in this release is some configure fixes and compilation under redhat
5.0 without warnings.

New with 3.5 is auto-paragraph-formatting, so you can type paragraphs
like with a word processor, as well as: filebrowser first letter file-name
short cuts. (The paragraph stuff is in the Midnight Commander also - check
out the new options dialog box of mcedit)

Could those with non-Linux systems please test and report on this release
for compilations problems. You will however need libXpm for coolicon.

                support. Icons can be created/configured/edited
                using a nice graphical interface. Each icon has

                recieving a drop. These can be edited from each
                icons property menu. This package was written
                using the Coolwidgets library. The source is
                packaged with the Cooledit distribution and is
                recommended over this statically linked release.
