No, there isn't any know problem with cron.  I am running imapfilter
through cron, and it behaves as expected.  I can't think of what goes
wrong in your case...

There is another alternative however: you can run imapfilter in daemon
mode.  Have a look at the sample.extend.lua file, it has an example of
how to do this.
