Το Gnucash είναι ένα πρόγραμμα διαχείρισης προσωπικών
οικονομικών <br>
στοιχείων το οποίο βρίσκεται μέσα στις 3-4 πιο δυνατές εφαρμογές για το
περιβάλλον <br>
του Gnome. <br>
<br>
Η καινούργια του έκδοση (και τελευταία για το Gnome 1.x) διαθέτει
<br>
νέες δυνατότητες που θα μπορούσαν να χρησιμοποιηθούν και από μικρές <br>
επιχειρήσεις. <br>
<br>
Επίσης σημαντική είναι και η υποστήριξη OFX/HBCI για online τραπεζικές
<br>
συναλλαγές μέσω του Gnucash. <br>
(Άγνωστο κατά πόσο υποστηρίζονται από τις ελληνικές τράπεζες αυτά
τα <br>
πρωτόκολλα και κατά πόσο θα υποστηριχθούν μελλοντικά...) <br>

Η ελληνική μετάφραση έχει ξεκινήσει απο την προηγούμενη έκδοση, όμως
<br>
βρίσκεται σε δοκιμαστικό στάδιο λόγω του ότι χαρακτηρίζεται από μεγάλο
όγκο και δυσκολία <br>
λειτουργικής απόδοσης της αγγλικής οικονομικής ορολογίας στη γλώσσα μας.

GnuCash is the first free software application to support the German
Home Banking <br>
Computer Information protocol which includes statement download, initiate

transfers and direct debits.<br>

A brand new user help has been written which focuses on how to do
tasks in <br>
conjunction with a Tutorial and Concepts guide that gives the user
background<br>
information on using GnuCash.<br>
<b>- New Multi-Currency Transaction Handling:</b><br>
GnuCash no longer requires separate currency exchange accounts to
handle multiple<br>
currency transfers.<br>
<b>- Redesigned Menu's</b><br>
The GnuCash menu's have been redesigned to conform more with the new
GNOME <br>
Human Interface Guidelines.<br>
