Hello there,

Sorry for not being able to speak Greek.

I am contacting you on behalf of Libre-entreprise.

Libre-entreprise is a network of companies and freelance workers which
may be defined as an effort to apply the Free software model to
business.

Libre-entreprise is committed to a few simple rules :

- Full control (companies must be owned by their employees)
- Democracy : 1 person = 1 vote
- Information sharing, and maximum transparency
https://www.libre-entreprise.org/articles/5

Libre-entreprise is about to answer an invitation to tender from the
European Union : "Encouraging good practice in the use of open source
software in public administrations"
http://ted.publications.eu.int/static/doccur/en/en/142895-2003.htm

The tenderers must have several correspondents or corresponding
organisations in Europe.
The criterias allowing a tenderer to answer the invitation to tender
are difficult to fullfill for a Free Software company alone, especially
when it comes to having correspondents all around Europe, that's why we
need your help now and later. Our goal is to present the EU a tender
supported by the Free Software community to avoid what happened with a
similar invitation to tender two years ago : The huge american company
Unisys won it, although they're not involved in the Free Software
movement at all. Some could say it was as if Microsoft had been leading
the strategy of the EU in the use of Free Software...

These correspondants must be capable of providing information (in
english) on the issues related to use of free software by the public
administrations in their country.
Above the fact that correspondents will be paid for their duty they will
get high satisfaction to have done something really useful for the Free
Software community.

I would like to add the name of your organisation, or even better, the
name of some of your members, to our correspondents list.

We haven't much time to answer this tender (it must be sent on the 1st
of october !) but I think we have an opportunity here to make something
that would benefit the whole community (and our network of companies
too, of course :-) ! I am looking forward to hear from you very soon.

Sincerely,
--
