Projects such as assignments, exercises and research experiments are quite common in academia.

Most of the time, they rely heavily on the computing, network and storage resources at hand; resources that you may not have, or that is difficult to reserve for your colleagues or students.

Unsuprisingly, for a while now we have been receiving requests such as:

"Can I have more VMs to share with my students for a CPU-intensive semester assignment?"
"Can I have more RAM for a research experiment that will last approximately two months?"

The above shows that there are groups or sole users that need more resources for a specific ammount of time. This is exactly why we created the "Projects" feature. And it's easy too!
Simply write down the summary of your project, its start and termination dates, its members, the resources you will need and that's it! Soon, you and your colleagues will be ready to deploy!

The application must be well-written and clearly state the reason why this project is needed, to have a good chance of acceptance.
